MORE THAN
MATCH
officials.
Keeping rugby moving across Berkshire.
Berkshire Rugby Referees brings together referees, coaches and volunteers who support the game across the county.
From a referee taking charge of their first match to experienced officials operating at senior levels, we're here to help people develop, progress and enjoy refereeing.
SUPPORTING
THE GAME.
developing people.
Refereeing is about much more than eighty minutes on a pitch.
We support officials throughout their refereeing journey with training, mentoring, development and opportunities to gain experience.
We also work with rugby clubs across Berkshire, providing officials for matches and helping make sure games can take place safely, fairly and competitively.

DIFFERENT
JOURNEYS.
one team.
There's no single route into refereeing.
Our members come from different backgrounds and bring different experiences to the game. Some have played rugby for years. Others discovered refereeing without ever having played.
What connects them is a desire to contribute to rugby, keep learning and help make the game happen every weekend.
MEET OUR REFEREES →Refereeing Berkshire for generations.
Berkshire Rugby Referees was founded in December 1948, when a group of officials came together to establish a refereeing referee organisation serving clubs across Berkshire.
More than seven decades later, the game has changed enormously — but the purpose remains: supporting referees and helping rugby happen across the county.
