About Me.

I have been involved in rugby since aged 13, when I started playing for the ATC, finding out that I was a fairly decent player in our 7’s team. I progressed to represent at a high level for the ATC, then went onto find a club. I played for Grasshoppers in West London from mid teen’s, and still play now for the vets one Friday evening a month.

I got into coaching after my son started playing for the U13 at Bracknell RFC, and I was asked to assist the coaches. From here I was asked to ref as the team ref was injured, so I did the course and did my first few games. I loved it and moved on to reffing adult games, and still love every game I ref.

My aim aim as a ref is to become the best ref ref I can, hopefully move up the levels a bit more and get the opportunity to ref at a higher level.

I was once on Blue Peter when they filmed a rugby match before a world cup. The presenters were part of the opposition we played. I made a big hit on one of the presenters, but this was left out the final cut!!

I also manage all the Berkshire Rugby referees website and social media.
